Anita Belle was a successful lawyer. After Gary Webb's story came out about the CIA importing drugs into minority communities came out, she decided to try to sue them. Her clients were immediately threatened and she was targeted by what she called Cointelpro. Life became so bad for her, her children and her mother, that they fled to Canada, and then to Israel. Her status at this stage is unknown.
