Gary Webb was a successful Journalist, winning prizes, doing well in his field. He then decided to write a series called the dark alliance, it detailed how the CIA imported drugs into ethnic minority neighborhoods.
After this he was moved to another location which he hated, he quit his job, and lived below his means. Still Gary continued to investigate, and it's believed that he was considering writing a new book, when he was found with a bullet to the head. Many believe that he was murdered.
